2. Do you have a kennel, if I should choose to use a boarding facility?
Yes. Currently we have tore down our old boarding barn, we do have temporary stacked kennels. We are please to announce we are working on developing a new state of the art facility. We are currently trying for grants and angle investors. It is a two year plan. At the time of completetion we will have 20 horse stalls, a tack room, wash stall, and an indoor riding arena (if pray and hard work provides). Plus 10 or more roomy kennels (not stacked or uncomfortable) for dogs. and about the same for cats (both seperated from one another). Until then we will be happy to travel to your home to keep your pets comfortable. Even after the kennels are built we would recommend your home as the happiest place for your pet, but we do understand that there are times when this is not possible.

3. How much experience do you really have with pets?

A Lot! We currently have 4 horses, 8 cats and 3 dogs and 1 foster dog (listed on the Wild at Heart/ adoption page)> we did have 4< (we just lost our beautiful male Siberian Huskey to Renal Kidney Failure). I take pleasure in saying that I to walk all of my dogs at the same time. Why, is that impressive? Because if you know Huskies one of them could pull a full grown man by themselves. Yet my two Huskies and my one Bichon walk cordially side by side heeling the whole walk. Never chasing cars or bikes or rollerbladers. All together in my lifetime between Amber (daughter and partner) and I we have loved 40 pets (14 of them still with us the others died from age or genetic illness). Most of these animals are adopted. Only the horses with us now have come from breeders and our one Huskey.

Does that mean we are experts No, not by a long shot. Each animal is different and unique. Just like children what works for one may not work for another. But we never stop learning. We read and study the many aspects of pets. We take courses to learn more and better ways to serve our clients and their pets. At this time we are enrolled in a six month accrediation class. We have taken our test and await test results.

4. I am not sure I like the idea of a stranger in my home. How can you gain my trust?

We depend on our reputation. Of all our advertising word of mouth is our biggest. If we did not have outstanding character we could lose our business. How would we gain your trust? I would say the best answer to that is...we both have something to lose. If we misplace your trust legal action can be filed and we stand to lose our business.

Please keep in mind we are at risk as well. Each day we enter homes of strangers, unsure of who we maybe meeting. We put our faith and trust in these strangers that they will not harm us. We hope you too can find the faith and trust in us. That is what the pet care service is all about. You are trusting us with your friends and home. We trust that each call or e-mail is a truly nice person in need of a pet sitter. We have just as much to lose in this venture as our clients do. Our safety is just as important to us as yours is to you.
